NCAA Restrictions:
If you are currently participating in NCAA athletics at your college or university, you can receive a Spam FC Scholarship ONLY for the recognition of your outstanding high school experience. Thus, when applying for a scholarship, please limit your essay to your high school experience; do not discuss your experience participating in collegiate athletics. Doing so many jeopardize your eligibility to receive a Spam FC Scholarship.
NCAA rules also prohibit student-athletes from receiving a Spam FC Scholarship more than once. If you are a NCAA student-athlete who has already received a Spam FC Scholarship, you are ineligible for a second award from Spam FC.
If you are not currently participating in NCAA athletics, you are free to discuss college experiences in your essay and you are eligible to receive a second Spam FC Scholarship.
